The New England
Light Pollution Advisory Group, a volunteer group founded
during the autumn of 1993 for the purpose of educating the public on the
virtues of efficient, glare-free outdoor night lighting.
The Astronomical League: Composed of over 240 local amateur astronomy
clubs, the AL forms one of the largest amateur astronomical organizations in the world.
The Planetary Society: The
Planetary Society was founded in 1980 by Drs. Carl Sagan, Bruce Murray and
Louis Friedman to encourage the exploration of our solar system and the
search for extraterrestrial life. The Society is a non-profit,
