post-Pharisaic interpretations.
2. Issues of creation, revelation, and philosophical anthropologies,
in scripture, and in rabbinic teachings.
3. Role of oral law as gift and the possibility of individual
as well as communal teshuvah; issue of resurrection (mention other Jewish
concepts o afterlife . . . ); human capacity for evil.
4. Some Christian structures with supplements/replacement(s)
for the written and oral law; original sin.
5. Give some sources, including Ellis Rivkin's A Hidden Revolution:
The Pharisees' Search for the Kingdom Within (Abingdon, 1978).
6. Explain some implications the reintroduction of continuous
revelation/interpretation (foreshadow some aspects of the rise of Islam).
